Due to the severe rain forecast for Saturday, the Fall Leaf Tour has been moved to Sunday, October 17th.  The group will meet at Brennan’s Fish House at 1:30 for lunch. Departure for the covered bridge tour will be @ 2:30 after lunch.

Would you like to enjoy beautiful fall foliage and explore the famous covered bridges of Ashtabula County? Here’s your opportunity! Section members and past president Jim and Barb Tullis are our hosts for this year’s tour. They will meet you at the McDonald’s located at the intersection of Interstate 90 and Ohio route 534 (Geneva exit) at 10 o’clock AM on Saturday Oct 16th. The latest weather forecasts indicate that fall colors will continue into late October this year, so this is a great opportunity to drive through some of Northeast Ohio’s most beautiful countryside.

Our caravan will depart from McDonald’s at 10:15 a.m. for a scenic drive through Ashtabula County. Our group will visit twelve covered bridges including the shortest and longest covered bridges in the United States, a pedestrian covered bridge, and the oldest covered bridge in the US. There will be stops along the way where you can stretch, socialize, and use the facilities.

We plan to arrive at Brennan’s Fish House “A Nice Place to Perch” (102 River Street, Grand River 44046) @ 1:30-2:00 where the owner has agreed to accommodate our group for a late lunch. We will order off the menu and pay individually.

Registration is $10 per vehicle and is available here or by mail using the form below. Please make your reservation by Tuesday October 12th.
