45 members and guests of the Western Reserve Section gathered in the awe-inspiring “Chapel” of the Glenmoor Country Club in Canton. Cocktails and hors D’Oeuvres were served at 6:30 followed by a delicious dinner. The facility had at one time been a seminary and a boy’s school for high school aged boys planning to be priests or brothers. Therefore, the Chapel had truly been the chapel for the facility. Bill VerDuin named WRS Vice President
The Western Reserve Section board of directors voted unanimously at our November 10th meeting to elect Bill VerDuin as section vice president. The election was held due to the resignation of Mary Alice Cozza. Mary Alice was recently elected to serve on the MBCA national board as a director at large; club bylaws prohibit a member of the national board from serving as an officer in their home section. Mary Alice Cozza elected as Director at Large
The results are in and Mary Alice Cozza was elected as a MBCA Director at Large! Mary Alice will take office during the National Board Meeting in St. Louis on Nov. 7th and will serve a 2-year term on the MBCA National Board. Rodger VanNess and Jim Luikens were also elected as DALS based on the results of the 1729 ballots cast.
