The Western Reserve Section has been invited to participate in several exciting spring events that will give us an opportunity to enjoy the nice weather and explore North East Ohio in our cars.
Zoar Maifest German Car Show Saturday May 10th & 11th
The annual Zoar Maifest is a fun day filled with beer, brats, and bands. In addition to enjoying the scenic village, you can enter your car in the German Car Show. The show will be held from 10:30 am to 2 pm in the lot across from the Zoar United Church of Christ. Car owners should register starting at 10:30 am. Registration is $10. Performance Driving at Watkins Glen May 29th
If you have ever wondered what it’s like to drive your Mercedes-Benz the way it was engineered to perform, or if you have been frustrated by the slow pace of traffic on winding roads, or if you want to improve your driving skills to take advantage of what those brilliant Mercedes Benz engineers have achieved, or if you simply want to enjoy your car even more, here is the opportunity. MBCA has teamed up with Lotus, Ltd to secure the famous Watkins Glen Grand Prix track in New York. We will have both classroom and on track instructors to help you learn the skills that race car drivers use to negotiate challenging turns safely and quickly. Cruise on the Lady Caroline – June 15th 
Join Western Reserve section members for a luncheon cruise down the Cuyahoga River and Lake Erie on board the Lady Caroline on Saturday June 15th. There are 25 tickets reserved for MBCA available on a first-come basis. Tickets will be distributed when you board the ship starting at 10 am. The cruise is from 11-1 and includes a luncheon buffet (3 entrees, fixings, dessert, coffee, tea, water) and DJ entertainment.
Lady Caroline boards at the West Bank of the flats by the powerhouse (1153 main avenue, Cleveland 44113)
Tickets are $60 per person. There is a $3 per car parking fee payable when you arrive at the lot. The cruise will happen rain or shine.
