Crawford Museum Tour & Luncheon

C-1

Western Reserve Section VP Rod Thompson has arranged a docent-led private tour of the newly-revised Crawford Auto Aviation Collection (10825 East Boulevard, Cleveland, Ohio 44106) beginning at noon on Saturday April 18th. A highlight of the tour will be a look at REVolution, the newest exhibit in the Crawford Auto Aviation Wing, featuring over 50 cars, all of which tell the story of the automobile in America. From stainless steel to early recreational vehicles, REVolution traces the history of automobile design and technological changes in America from the 1890s to the 21st Century. The exhibit is broken up into seven themes to accurately portray this transformation:

•Invention & Design
•Tire Tech
•Alternative Fuels
•Need for Speed
•Road Trip
•Accessory Corner
•Stainless Steel

Parking is available in the private lot behind the Western Reserve Historical Society building which is accessible from Magnolia Blvd.

Following our tour we will walk a block and a half for a private luncheon at 2:00 at The Trentina Restaurant, located at 1903 Ford Drive. The restaurant is a gourmet northern Italian restaurant connected to the Glidden House. Our meal will consist of soup, a vegetable pasta, artisan bread, and iced tea and coffee.
