Join us on Saturday, August 31st from 11:00-3:00 for our 7th annual Old Car Fun Day hosted by WRS Vice President Rod Thompson in Hunting Valley. This event is focused on Mercedes-Benz models of the 50s, 60s, and 70s, but all years and models are welcome at this popular event. Old Car Fun Day is a forum for owners and enthusiasts to meet each other and chat about their experiences as drivers and owners of older M-Bs. If you have a question or are experiencing a problem with your car, this is a great opportunity to get answers from the group. It is also a great venue to share recommendations for sources of repairs and parts.
This year we are fortunate to have 2 local experts on hand to help us. WRS Tech Director Ted Gottfried will present and discuss the restoration of his 190SL, and Chuck Widemire, a Mercedes-Benz factory trained technician knowledgeable about both vintage and contemporary vehicles will offer tips & field questions on technical topics.
Don’t have an oldie? Come anyway! Old Car Fun Day is open to cars, MBCA members, and Mercedes-Benz enthusiasts of all vintages–both newer and older.
Registration is $18 per person and includes a luncheon of pulled pork , cole slaw, soft drinks, and beer.
