Enjoy Fall Colors? Love Touring in Your Benz, but Want to Compare it To Touring in An Amish Buggy? Need to Play Santa Claus for the Holidays?
Not the usual Fall Leaf Tour, it’s — Ho Ho Ho! — our first ever combined event featuring a lovely drive through Holmes County, with an Amish buggy ride, tour of an Amish farm and schoolhouse, and a rally to gift shops in Wilmot, Walnut Creek and Sugarcreek! We’ll meet at Gateway Place, a gift shop and winery in Wilmot, where you’ll be given the rally sheet. Then we’ll head out to Yoder’s Amish Farm where we have an hour tour of a working farm (dress appropriately!). Then back to the rally to Walnut Creek where we’ll visit Carlisle Gifts (a Thomas Kinkade Gallery), P.Graham Dunn (an inspirational gift store) and Coblentz Chocolate Company. Then it’s off to Heini’s Gourmet Market for Cheese and Wine Tasting, and The Secret Garden where you’ll find 350 quilts and dozens of decorated Christmas trees.
And finally we’ll drive through Berlin to our buffet dinner at Chalet In The Valley, a Swiss-style restaurant owned by Guggisberg Cheese. You’ll have plenty of time to visit other stores along the way, too. Our sponsors have provided nice prizes for the rally winners!
Bring or buy your own wine for dinner (glasses supplied) and an empty cooler with ice for perishables you purchase needing refrigeration. Please patronize our sponsors who generously donated prizes. The more shopping you do, the better chance of winning rally prizes!
