Join us on Sunday, July 18th for our fun annual caravan to the Spread Eagle Tavern.  We will convoy or meet at the Spread Eagle Tavern in the historic canal town of Hanoverton, Ohio.  The Tavern is more than 150 years old and is located in a historic district of similarly aged buildings.  The display of shiny Mercedes-Benz automobiles driven to the event by our members makes a beautiful sight parked among the brick and clapboard ancient buildings on tree shaded lanes.  Don’t forget your camera! Join the International Stars section and MBCA members from the Great Lakes Region for a fun day at the prestigious  Concours d’Elegance of America at Meadowbrook held at Meadowbrook Hall on the campus of Oakland University in Rochester, MI.  The concours will feature over 200 cars displayed by invitation-only in categories including celebrity classics, early drag cars, european luxury, motorcycles, vintage, and antiques. In addition to the traditional defensive driving school and autocross, event chair Fred Gesell has added a “fun” car show for members to have a chance to display and show their cars in a very relaxed setting. Fun Car Show

At your choice, you can either display your car for others to enjoy and appreciate, or enter it to be judged. The judging parameters are much more relaxed than a typical MBCA Concours event, so enter your car even if you think it is not a show car—you might win an award!  Judged cars are eligible for  very special recognition—the Coppus Motors Sponsor’s Choice Trophy.
