Join us for a delicious meal and a fun afternoon on Sunday May 5th at The Restaurant and Bar at Lenau Park (Donauschwaben German American Cultural Center) 7370 Columbia Rd., Olmsted Falls, OH 44138
Lunch will begin at 11:30 am. We can choose that day from 3 entrees all served with homemade soup or salad, and strudel is usually available:
Wiener Schnitzel (red cabbage and spaetzle) $16
Sausage Platter ( Weisswurst and German Frank with home fries and sauerkraut) $12
Bavarian Smoked Pork Chop with an Apple & Onion Brandy Sauce (garlic mashed potatoes) $15
We will have separate checks. This lunch will be limited to 30 guests (adults only).
Bocce Bowling after lunch beginning around 1:00 p.m. will be limited to 20 guests–there are only 2 alleys so there is not a lot of room for more.
We will bowl on 2 teams. Each player gets 3 throws of the bocce ball down a regulation alley with regulation pins on strings (not a lot of pin action, hence very few spares and strikes). Scoring is cumulative and we usually bowl for 2 hours.
The cash bar in the restaurant has about 50 beer selections and 6 on tap: Hofbrau Light and dark, Warsteiner, Franziskaner, Yuengling, Bud Light. The bar will remain open till 2:30 pm
Reservations must be in by April 26. There will be a $5 reservation fee per person for lunch and $5 reservation fee per person for bowling. First come first served!
