Amish Tour Information

The Amish tour (one of our most popular events at Starfest 2004) will be on Monday May 23rd. Activities include visit to an Amish home for a hand-made basket demonstration and a trip to nearby Kidron to visit the well-known Lehman Hardware store filled with many non-electrical and hard-to-find items.  Enjoy a hearty home-cooked Amish meal at an Amish homesteadbaked chicken, roast beef, mashed potatoes, noodles, vegetables, and of course some home-baked pie for dessert.  The afternoon continues with a demonstration of candlemaking and concludes with a visit to the town of Berlin with plenty of time to shop for crafts and goodies.  Best of all, the entire tour is done on a tour bus so you don’t need to worry  about navigation or driving–just enjoy the sights!  Space is limited, so make your reservation now.
